PETER MILLER BIO
Queensland based finger-style guitarist Peter Miller is known in Australia and Ireland for his delicate touch and for his beautiful melodic sensibility. Peter has toured Ireland and Europe on numerous occasions where he has shared the stage with Legendary song writer John Spillane, piper Eoin Duignan, Slide player Clive Barnes and many more. He has also supported the great Pierre Bensusan, more recently, has been invited to be one of the featured instrumental virtuosi at the 'Loves Songs To Tasmania' concert at the Cygnet 2010 Folk Festival . Peter has also appeared at Illawarra folk festival joining the guitar wizards show on closing day. Bahrain is yet another destination Peter has performed.
“I’ve been fortunate to play guitar for Irishman John Spillane a number of times now, He’s great Craic as they say over there, I also played at Gavin Moore’s sitting room sessions with Steve Housden of Little River Band fame, I think I have played almost every county in the country, I’m completely spoilt when I tour Ireland.”
His music has appeared world wide on Film and Television including Cult UK show ‘Skins’ and has been chosen for the new Irish film ‘Will’s diaries’. Peter’s guitar music has also appeared on independent surf films ‘unify & Livewire’. Tracks have appeared on compilation CDs worldwide. Including ‘chillout zone vol 2’ which reached number 2 in India. also receiving a two page write up in Italian music magazine ‘New age & New Sounds’ . Peter is a regular on the South East QLD music scene playing venues and wine bars throughout the region.
His playing has a tasteful use of space, without being underplayed. His live performances are a mixture of solo and (sometimes) layered guitar pieces using a loopstation (JamMan) . Most of his playing style is of a Celtic and folk mix .
“I believe music whether it has lyrics or not should be able to tell a story. To take the listener on a journey is such a privilege. I’ve had people come up after a show and say that’s just what I needed. Quite often live I like to play something new on the spot, it all adds so much to the performance.”
Peter has received great responses from fellow musicians and reviewers for his guitar playing style
"beautiful guitar style"
Gerry O'Beirne.

JAYDEN COURTS BIO
After recently sparking the interest of a number of renowned record labels and producers, it is clear to see that it is only a matter of time before this young Gold Coast bred artist becomes a household name.
With music in his veins from an early age and the dream of a career in music driving him forward since he can remember, Jayden Courts is walking proof of what it means to live and breathe music, with every step of every day.
With a voice that could melt even the hardest of hearts, and song-writing skills that rival even some of Australia’s best – Jayden Courts is evidence that a passion to write and perform simply earnest and heartfelt songs, is what it takes to shine (very brightly!) through the crowd.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of James Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Jeff Buckley, Gavin Degraw, John Mayer, Jamie Cullum & Matt Corby, Jayden has developed a truly unique sound, which takes one on a journey from the first chord, right down to the very last vocal hum. It is this skill that leaves any listener mesmerised and intensely inspired.
With his obvious strengths in singing & song-writing already prevalent in his work and an impressive repertoire of self produced original songs to prove for it, Jayden Courts has not stopped there! Now in the 3rd year of his Bachelor of Popular Music, Jayden is continuing to further develop his skills and his growing passion for his art.
When Jayden performs, it is obvious he is a musician who is thoroughly energised by the joy his work brings to not only himself, but to those around him who are touched by his music and the effect it has on their lives.
With such drive and excitement, Jayden is continually looking to the future and intends to have a quality; self produced EP set for release by the end of 2010. With a clear view of where he is heading, and a truckload of talent to boot – big things are ahead for Jayden Courts!

CHEYNNE MURPHY BIO
Cheynne picked up an old nylon string guitar in his final year of a marketing degree in Sydney much to the dismay of his parents. Upon discovering three chords (or 4) and the truth through a diet of old delta blues, Bob Marley and old skool Cat Stevens. Cheynne set about writing his own simplistic versions of ‘songs’ and discovered he had a knack for melody and emotional authenticity. His second gig saw him perform to 1500 people at a College ball on campus. Three years later he had signed a world wide publishing deal with Warner Chappell, had performed on national television and had started getting radio airplay. A meteoric rise into the heady world of the music industry, it was during this time that Cheynne emerged as a front man for seminal indie acts Mama Bird, Spinifex and later, Wingspan. An album was recorded in 2003, with the band Wingspan.
Management, record contracts, and touring commitments unfolded in quick succession due to the commercial strength of this material but ultimately the band imploded like all good rock and roll clichés in a haze of scandalous deals, legal battles, hidden agendas, dodgy managers and a band dynamic akin to the krakatoa. Six of the best songs from this album were taken and released as Cheynne’s first solo EP called Wingspan, dedicated to that part of his musical journey.
This was an ambitious first effort that was described by reviewers as “ a special orchestral rock record of rare songwriting genius”….Drum Media. Upon moving to Byron Bay in 2006 Cheynne recorded his follow up EP- Return to the Source which received national airplay on ABC and great support locally with Bay FM. Supports with Tex Perkins, Pete Murray kept him in good company and set the stage for his latest and best offering Firesongs For The Soul.
Now Cheynne is presenting the Firesongs for the Soul EP to industry, festivals, friends and fans alike in 2009, with a focus on online interactive presence, radio airplay and performances at key festivals and venues on the East Coast starting with the East Coast Bluesfest, April 2009. Featuring an eclectic ensemble of Byron’s best musicians this EP is full of hooks, harmonies and soul and is sure to resonate with acoustic music lovers all over the world. Brothers
http://www.myspace.com/brotherscountry
Prior to being active members of the Queensland music scene, Brothers shared their roots in a queit NSW mountain town. Their Debut self titled EP is making waves so do yourself a favour and get a copy.
Rogerthat
http://www.myspace.com/rogerthatofficial
They fly that freak-flag up on high & into the sky. Swaying like the breeze, mind whistling like leaves, it's all in the way Bailey on vocals (with his Amish beard & anti-establishment grooves) makes Rogerthat the very Zeitgeist of it all! If ever there was anything lacking from our apocalypse as envisioned in childhood, it's in the sights THEY bring to our feverish minds - it's in the second coming of the mad 70's blunt groove, Rogerthat style. If ever there was a diagonal slide into sweet oblivion that needed magnifying with guitar, bass, drum & electrified amp, Rogerthat is the one to deliver it.

Igloo
http://www.myspace.com/iglootheband
IGLOO is a dynamic new 5-piece live electronic funk band straight outta
Southern Queensland. A new world fusion that moves the organic to meet the
electronic amidst fat chunky beats reminiscent of the Brighton Big Beat era,
thanks to resident Beat Doctor-Benwahh; old skool sampling and turntablism
courtesy of Freddy Flyfingaz (Tijuana Cartel) and killer electric riffs
sitting pretty amidst the sweet, soulful vocals of Miss Jeliza Rose. Backed
up with big fat live bass by none other than Otto Mitter
(Kwerkshoppe/Bowser) and laced with the unique percussive expressions of
Tuan (Wunluv), these musicians have a collective experience that spans many
decades and their palpable musical chemistry is as powerful as it is
captivating. Armed with a killer bunch of tunes, quirky fun hooks, a great
sense of humour and a sound that is uniquely IGLOO, this band have
everything it takes to make a racket that's gonna get noticed.
