The Hobbit: Production Diaries
THE HOBBIT is an upcoming film directed by New Zealand director PETER JACKSON, who did the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. The film shall be done in two parts, The first one due for release at the end of 2012, and the second in 2013, so a very long way away. Despite this, Jackson has decided to post a video diary of the production process, returning to a lot of the old sets in Wellington from the Trilogy movies. The film is set to star Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Sir Ian McKellen to return as Gandalf and Andy Serkis to return as the infamous Gollum. Check out the clip below of the very first production days as Jackson takes you through the begininng film-making process.
